Buses re-directed to temporary stops

A city centre bus station has been closed for repairs after a light fitting fell from its roof.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council said the issue at Hanley Bus Station may have been "affected by recent extreme variations in temperature”. It is hoped to be re-opened over the weekend. Meanwhile buses will operate from temporary stops.
