New SEND school celebrations

A new Stoke-on-Trent school for children with special educational needs and disabilities has celebrated its opening.

Watermill Brindley, on Turnhurst Road, in Packmoor, provides up to 70 new school places which have been created as part of an £11.5 million project.

The school, which spans two floors, and has been built on the former Middlehurst school, provides more learning opportunities for children with a life skills room, a gym and a community room.
