Staffordshire prisoners sentenced to further time in jail

A group of Staffordshire prisoners who attacked two fellow inmates and prison officers at HM YOI Werrington have been sentenced to further jail time.

The seven men involved in the attack will serve an extra 36 years in prison collectively as a result of the incident.

The attack took place in the prison yard during an exercise period in June 24.
